The Original Kudhinda Potato Print
Ku-dhinda (Shona) v. to print; to stamp; to press;
The fabric is first dyed and then carefully marked out to guide the designs. Intricately cut designs on rubber blocks are stamped in multi colours to create these jewel like pieces.
There can be up to 900 stamps per meter of fabric, and so the block printed range is almost double the price of screen prints.
Block print products are art pieces and are printed as pictures and wall hangings, though these are also may be used as panel curtains and table cloths.
As these products are individually produced they need to be personally ordered.
